VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology

Job Description

We are looking for a Vice President (VP), Late Development Team Lead in Oncology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This position plays a critical role in leading the Late Development Team (LDT) and driving the global product strategy from proof of concept to approval. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in late-stage drug development, cross-functional leadership skills, and the ability to balance innovation with program speed and value.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more LDT(s) in developing and executing product strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize global product development opportunities.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to functional matrix teams.
• Ensure alignment with company mission and approach in Long Range Plans.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Participate in development of cross-functional team structures and processes.

Requirements

• +15 years of global multi-disciplinary drug development experience.
• Proven track record in late-phase oncology drug development.
• Experience in leading collaborations and alliances.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
