Medical Science Liaison

Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will be the primary scientific expert for Jazz Pharmaceuticals' products in the area of Sleep Medicine/Neuroscience. You will establish and maintain relationships with medical professionals, researchers, and scientific communities, while contributing to compliant and successful scientific communication and education. This role involves supporting FDA approved products, developing scientific relationships, facilitating pipeline compounds, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring safe product use.

Responsibilities

• Engage in scientific exchange and communication of products.
• Establish scientific relationships with opinion leaders.
• Support clinical research and investigator initiated studies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for successful communication and education.
• Attend and provide scientific support at medical activities and congress meetings.

Requirements

• Effective communication of scientific data to internal and external customers.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based scientific personnel.
• Ability to develop trust and relationships with opinion leaders.
• Collaborative and team-based approach.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

Education and Experience

• An advanced doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or equivalent).
• 0-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical/research experience.
• Preferably experience in Sleep Medicine, Neurology, or Psychiatry.
