Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Late Development Team in Oncology. As the Late Development Team Lead, you will play a critical role in the late product lifecycle, establishing and executing global product strategies to bring life-changing medicines to patients worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams in product strategy and operational execution.
  • Develop vision and strategy for product development in alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with key functions to identify strategic opportunities for global product development.
  • Approve integrated product development plans and provide oversight for regulatory filings.
  • Provide leadership to team members, mentor, and ensure team accountability and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal leaders to optimize product development strategies and prepare for governance reviews.
  • Manage project budget, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Participate in external collaborations and strategic projects with high visibility.
  • Contribute to disease area assessments and cross-molecule initiatives.
  • Develop effective relationships internally and with external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of global multi-disciplinary drug development experience in pharma/biotech industry.
  • Proven track record in late-stage drug development and regulatory submissions in Solid Tumor Oncology.
  • Experience leading complex and high-priority projects, balancing risks, speed, and value.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to engage and lead global cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, entrepreneurial mindset, and effective communicator.
  • MD, PhD, PharmD degree required.
