Store Team Member

Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Store Team Member where you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide exceptional customer service. Collaborate with the team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and provide top-notch customer service
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain store cleanliness
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
