Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. Your contributions will directly impact the overall customer shopping experience and satisfaction. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $16.50 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Provide feedback to management and participate in inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Stay organized, attention to detail, and multi-task efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience equivalent
