Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join the ALDI family. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts, Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases and maintain store cleanliness
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise displays are organized
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in inventory counts
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining data security
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation
- Proficiency in operating equipment and general cleaning
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Compliance with alcohol handling requirements
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience beneficial
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
