Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with team members, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills) at all times.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Report product feedback, inventory issues, and other concerns to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to work at ALDI.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Adherence to company policies and safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking capabilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
