Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy and compliance with store policies.
• Handle cash transactions following company procedures to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to established company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to perform cleaning and stocking duties as per company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
