Store Team Member

Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Store Team Member responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Enhance the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members.

Position Type:

Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. competencies
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock merchandise
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with the team
• Offer feedback to management on products and store inventory
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
• Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring document security
• Perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and stock merchandise up to 45 pounds, stand, bend, push, pull, and operate store equipment

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate cash register efficiently
• Handle store equipment
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently and within a team environment

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Equivalent knowledge from education and experience
