Join our team at ALDI as a Store Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to ensure store security
• Comply with company policies and procedures while safeguarding confidential information

Physical Demands

• Ability to stock and organize merchandise
• Engage in various physical activities like bending, lifting, and walking around the store
• Operate equipment and perform cleaning duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Provide courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Operate equipment safely and follow company policies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience a plus
