Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a valuable member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By working collaboratively with our team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers and provide exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register
• Safe and proper use of equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks
• General cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and multitasking ability

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
