Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. From merchandising to cashiering, you will be a key part of creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy.
• Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning duties.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
