Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and inviting store environment. By working collaboratively with your team and delivering exceptional customer service, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks with or without reasonable accommodation following the ALDI Act Competencies
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide top-notch customer service, assisting shoppers effectively
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and scanning accuracy
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
• Comply with company policies and uphold data security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Interpret and apply company policies accurately
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
