Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to offer customers a top-notch shopping experience. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient store environment that prioritizes exceptional customer service.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's core values and professional skills daily.
  • Process customer transactions, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements.
  • Participate in inventory management and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow cash handling procedures and uphold company policies.
  • Adhere to security protocols to safeguard confidential information.
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
  • Able to operate store equipment and perform cleaning duties.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations, including alcohol sales.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Retail experience and product knowledge advantageous.
