Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory management and follow cash policies and procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, ensure data security, and assist in maintaining document confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of interpreting and implementing company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A blend of education and experience offering equivalent knowledge.
