Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of our store to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and provide outstanding customer service
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document confidentiality, and perform assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus
• A combination of education and experience will be considered
