Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by assisting in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
• Conduct store inventory counts and maintain accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies and uphold document security
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and equipment
• Capable of following company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Work effectively independently or as part of a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcohol

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
