Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing the customer shopping experience and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe operation of equipment such as floor scrubbers and balers
• Interpretation and application of company policies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
