Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join Aldi, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, supporting customers, and working collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies while performing duties.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company procedures and maintain document security.
• Perform physical tasks like stocking and lifting up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and uphold company standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations on alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
