Store Team Member

Job Description

Join the Aldi team as a Store Team Member responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to create a superior shopping experience for customers. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory management and uphold cash handling procedures
• Follow company policies, safeguard confidential information, and perform assigned tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Proficiency in customer service, cash register operation, and equipment handling
• Ability to interpret policies, maintain cleanliness, and communicate effectively
• Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and multitasking capability
• Comply with state and local regulations for alcohol handling
• High school diploma preferred, with retail experience considered advantageous
