Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our dedicated team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills at all times.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and various equipment.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
