Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Your role will involve working collaboratively with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the required competencies and professionalism outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Follow company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
