Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the required Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate feedback to store management.
• Participate in inventory counts according to guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and comply with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol handling and selling.
