Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of in-store tasks, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) regularly
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory management and store operations tasks
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Knowledge of retail cleaning standards and company policies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
