Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's smooth operations and enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and provide exceptional customer service
• Perform cashier duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Assist in inventory counts and monitoring inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and security measures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register
• Proficient in general cleaning and familiar with retail equipment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
