Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of the store staff, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering and stock shelves neatly.
• Deliver excellent customer service and enhance the shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the management.
• Provide feedback on products and inventory management.
• Assist in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
• Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
