Job Description
Join ALDI as a Store Operations Assistant and play a key role in ensuring the store's operational efficiency. As part of the team, you will be involved in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment, all aimed at enhancing the customer shopping experience.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute tasks following ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize products on display.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate openly with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for security and data confidentiality.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operations.
- Skilled in operating equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to uphold company standards in cleaning and operations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to meet local requirements related to alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
