Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties and stock shelves neatly
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
