Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains a clean and organized environment while delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the key competencies required for the role.
• Process customer purchases and maintain store cleanliness.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and report to store management.
• Conduct inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Prior retail experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol.
