Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. By collaborating with the ALDI team and providing top-notch customer service, you will contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties and process customer purchases efficiently.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly to enhance the shopping experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Complete general cleaning duties to uphold store standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Compliance with state and local regulations related to the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
