Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties and handle customer purchases.
• Maintain a neatly stocked store with merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company standards.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register.
• Capable of safely using equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team environment.
• High school diploma preferred with retail experience being a plus.
