Job Description - Store Operations Assistant at Aldi

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the store. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to enhance the overall customer shopping experience. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient store operations.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with the store management team.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Stay organized, pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
