Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as required for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
  • Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures.
  • Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and perform assigned tasks.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of performing general cleaning tasks and following company guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • High school diploma preferred, retail experience is a plus.
