Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Job Type

Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate monitoring.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, maintain security, and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe operation of equipment and general cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages (as applicable).

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
