Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Communicate feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related matters to management.
  • Participate in inventory management activities and adhere to cash handling policies.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security and document confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of performing general cleaning tasks and adhering to company standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
