Job Description

We are hiring a Sterile Processing Technician to join the evening shift at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a vital member of the Surgery (OR) team, you will be responsible for the decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure accurate documentation of sterilization processes and report any abnormalities.
• Participate in receiving and reprocessing activities related to loaner and consignment sets.
• May train new staff or OR personnel in Sterile Processing under the department's guidance.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

Preferred Job Requirements

• Valid CRCST or CSPDT or CST certificate.
