Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg to join Advocate Aurora Health in Grafton, Wisconsin. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential daily care to patients, support RNs, and ensure the well-being of those under your care. This position offers a competitive salary of $32-52 per hour for 24 hours per week on night shifts.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assist RNs in patient care activities such as bathing, feeding, mobility assistance, and vital sign monitoring.
• Document patient data accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Conduct purposeful rounding and communicate patient needs effectively.
• Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Perform specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety through proper positioning, nutrition support, and skin care.

Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Nurse Aide registration.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic computer skills, excellent communication, and organizational abilities.
