Senior Director, Pharmacometrics (Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Director of Pharmacometrics. In this role, you will play a critical part in leading the design, analysis, and reporting of pharmacometrics programs to support the development of small and large molecule compounds in oncology, from discovery through registration and post-marketing phases.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and review pharmacometrics-related drug development plans and regulatory filings.
• Apply model-informed drug development principles to guide decision-making processes.
• Manage priorities effectively and find creative solutions to conflicts.
• Hire, develop, and retain key talents in the pharmacometrics team.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices in pharmacometrics activities.
• Maintain a network of partners and collaborators to support projects.
• Represent Jazz Pharmaceuticals as a subject matter expert in pharmacometrics.
• Evaluate potential in-licensing candidates and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or related field with over 12 years of industry experience.
• Proven track record of successful interactions with regulatory agencies and significant contributions to drug development.
• Experience in leading pharmacometrics teams and managing collaborations with external partners.
• Proficiency in quantitative analyses and use of pharmacometrics software.
• Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements and experience in multiple therapeutic areas.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Experience in oncology is preferred.
