Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in triage intake, patient processing, education, and ensuring follow-up care. Certification in AHA-BLS is required but not a qualifying factor for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage intake and patient processing.
• Provide patient education.
• Manage telephone calls and review lab/test results.
• Ensure follow-up care for patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State.
• Prior ambulatory clinic experience preferred.
• Ability to meet physical/pre-placement screening requirements.
• AHA-BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in triage is mandatory.
