Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking to hire a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. As a Staff Nurse II, you will provide professional nursing care to patients, assess their health status, and develop and implement nursing care plans. You will work collaboratively within nursing and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care and education throughout their treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health status and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide direct patient care, instruction, and prepare patients for continued care post-discharge.
• Participate as an essential member of nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
• May assume charge responsibilities based on operational requirements.

Requirements

• Valid RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum three-hundred (300) hours per calendar year, including holiday shifts.
• Completion of orientation, full-time preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Incentives

• Day shift differential $3.50 (weekends).
• Evening shift differential $3.00 (weekdays) & $6.50 (weekends).
• Night shift differential $10.00 (weekends).
