Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Emergency Department

Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a Per Diem basis in the Emergency Department. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide quality care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS.
• One year past medical/surgical experience as an RN.
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting or physician office practice preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outside normal hours as volume demands.
