Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), you will provide skilled nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following individual care plans and physician orders. Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient condition, reporting any changes to the supervisor or physician.
• Document all nursing actions and care delivery accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in updating and implementing nursing care plans.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and nursing care compliance.

Preferences

• Six months of recent experience in a clinical care setting.
• Home health experience.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and reposition patients.
• Physical abilities to walk, stand, bend, and perform necessary tasks.
