Responsibilities

• Promote professionalism and maintain a cooperative working environment.
• Ensure specimens are obtained following laboratory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with care providers regarding patient information.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Follow procedural directions and protocols accurately.
• Assist coworkers and prioritize workload efficiently.
• Handle specimen packaging, transport, and accessioning.
• Demonstrate infection control practices and proper patient identification.
• Collect and process drug screens.

Qualifications

• Job Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Basic computer skills.
• Preferred Requirements: Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience, Experience working in a clinical setting.
