Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our collaborative team at Aldi. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring our stores are well-maintained. Position Type

Part-Time | Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week | Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader.
• Uphold security and confidentiality standards within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Perform cashier duties, process customer purchases, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Operate machinery and follow safety procedures as a Stocker.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and create excellently merchandised displays.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store.

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Stockers should be able to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of company products and services.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
