Part-Time Store Associate/Cashier/Stocker (New Store)

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated and customer-focused Part-Time Store Associates, Cashiers, and Stockers to join our growing team at our new store. As a vital part of the ALDI family, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate vital information to direct leaders.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data in your area of responsibility.
• Perform cashier duties including processing customer purchases, stocking shelves, and ensuring a tidy store.
• Implement stocker responsibilities such as stocking shelves, rotating products, and organizing inventory.
• Assist with Curbside Shopping orders and handle both cashier and stocker responsibilities, as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in general cleaning tasks and adherence to company policies.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
• Effective time management skills and product knowledge.

Physical Demands

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying items up to 45 pounds.
• Capability to operate equipment like cash registers, electric/manual hand jacks, and floor scrubbers safely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is considered.
