Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Part-Time Stockers/Cashiers at ALDI. As a Stocker, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing our shelves to ensure fresh products are readily available to our customers. Cashiers, on the other hand, will process purchases, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Both roles involve collaborating with team members, upholding security standards, and adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Process customer purchases and maintain a clean checkout area.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Report inventory issues and suggestions to management.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and follow cash handling procedures.

Stocker Responsibilities:

  • Stock shelves with fresh products and create appealing displays.
  • Organize inventory and operate machinery safely.
  • Follow merchandising guidelines and maintain a tidy store environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in these roles, you must be 18 years or older with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. Cashiers should be proficient in operating a cash register, while Stockers must handle merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds. Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior work experience in retail is a bonus, but we welcome candidates with a combination of education and relevant experience.
