Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Oncology Account Manager for the Lehigh Valley area. As part of the commercial team, you will be responsible for promoting Jazz Pharmaceuticals' oncology products to healthcare providers in the designated territory. This role involves implementing marketing strategies, achieving sales targets, and maintaining strong relationships within the medical community.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals' oncology products to targeted healthcare providers.
  • Educate physicians and healthcare professionals about product indications.
  • Achieve sales forecasts and targets.
  • Organize meetings for medical and product information exchange.
  • Identify key healthcare providers and organizations in the territory.
  • Prepare and implement business and tactical plans.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in oncology sales preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of oncology products and disease states.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Experience

  • Post-graduate business training preferred.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with focus on oncology.
  • Experience in Hematology, Solid Tumor, AML, or Lung Cancer.
  • Community Oncology and Key Account knowledge desirable.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent travel between meeting sites.
  • Regular use of office equipment.

Work Environment

  • Interactions with external contacts in office settings.
  • May require non-traditional work hours.
