ABF Freight is looking for self-motivated, hardworking, and energetic City Drivers. Our City Drivers play a vital role in maintaining strong customer relationships. ABF Freight drivers utilize up-to-date technology for effective and efficient job performance, contributing to our low turnover rate. Job Responsibilities:

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations typically near the consolidation/distribution center.
• Loading and unloading of trailers using advanced techniques and technology similar to dock workers.
• Duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
• At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience is preferred; training may be provided for applicants with less experience.
• Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements are mandatory.
• Stable work history and strong work ethic are key qualities we seek in our drivers.
• Safe driving records and the ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements are necessary.
