Mechanic I

Job Description

Cargill is seeking a Mechanic I to join our protein and salt business in Albert Lea, MN. As part of our global team, you will play a vital role in maintaining production machinery, ensuring food safety and quality, and contributing to cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

Principal Accountabilities

• Performing maintenance on production machinery using hand tools.
• Ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area.

Required Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Prior experience in production maintenance.
• Welding experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience at Cargill.
• Recent work history within the past 12 months.
