Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking dedicated Licensed Nurse Assistants (LNA) to join Shep 3 North, our Alternative Care Unit. This new unit, established in March 2024, caters to 18-20 long-term care patients awaiting placement, offering care for a variety of diagnoses in a long-term care setting. LNAs play a crucial role in providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, responding to patient needs, EMR documentation, and personal care tasks such as bathing, mouth care, and toileting. The ideal candidates will exhibit reliability, flexibility, compassion, empathy, and exceptional teamwork, ensuring the highest quality care delivery. Strong time management skills are essential for this fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- LNA licensure in the State of Vermont.
- Preferred experience in Long Term Care.
